Church to build US$48 million Mall in Kumasi

Kumasi, Dec 13, GNA – Construction work on a US$48 million Garden City Mall Project, initiated by the Methodist Church, Ghana is set to begin next year, Reverend Professor Emmanuel Asante, the Presiding Bishop, has announced.

The mall to be sited on a 14-acre land at the Suame Roundabout,Kumasi, comes with a clinic, pharmacy and beauty shop, banks, restaurants, car park and cinema hall.

Expected to serve as a one-stop shop for consumers and boost business activities in the Kumasi Metropolis, it is being implemented by the Church in partnership with the Accra Shopping Mall Limited and some foreign investors.

Multicad Consulting Architects have been awarded the job scheduled to be ready within 18 months.
