Church prays for progress of nation

Odobeng (C/R), April 25, GNA- Reverend Daniel T.K. Doe, General Overseer of the New Jerusalem Healing Church at Odobeng in the Central Region, on Friday called on Ghanaians to appreciate truth and honesty for development.

He prayed for the success of the country and urged Christians to tolerate divergent views to ensure peace, unity and progress for the country.

Rev. Doe gave, who gave the advice at a special prayer session for the nation, organised by the Church at Odobeng.

He said “As Christians, we have the onerous responsibility to be peacemakers who should build bridges of understanding and reconciliation and leave no stone unturned to remove rancour and mistrust in our society.”

Rev. Doe advised members of the Church, especially the youth to avoid ungodly and negative practices. Rev. Doe urged the people to take active part governance at the local level.
