Church of Pentecost holds revival

Accra, May 10, GNA-Pastor Emmanuel Kojo Aidoo, New Tafo Area District Head of The Church of Pentecost, has called on Ghanaians to rally behind the government to ensure national development. He said for any country to see growth and development, there was the need for the people to unite and champion the developmental efforts of the nation.

Pastor Aidoo was speaking at the end of a seven-day revival of the Dome Central District of the Church at Dome in Accra on Sunday. About 1,500 members of the church attended the revival which was under the theme: “Give me a Blessing”.

It was aimed at building the capacity of the participants both spiritually and physically to enable them to face future challenges. The New Tafo Area Head commended women for the role they were playing in building a peaceful and prosperous country. He charged women to play a leading role in tackling sanitation issues which were getting out of hand.

Pastor Aidoo charged parents to take active interest in the education of their wards to enable them to grow to become useful citizens.
