Church honours two distinguished elevated judges

Accra, Aug 7, GNA – The Kaneshie Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, on Wednesday honoured two distinguished judges for their contributions to the justice system and the development of the country.

The two are, Her Lordship Justice Rose Owusu, who was on June 11, this year elevated to the high office of the Supreme Court of Ghana and His Lordship Justice Kweku Nkrumah Osei, 60, who also became an Appeal Court judge on March this year.

Reverend C. B. Ahwireng, Pastor in charge of the Church, lauded the excellence and achievements of the two judges and urged the youth of Church to strive to achieve higher heights in their endeavours. He also encouraged the two judges to be honest, firm and courageous in the discharge of their duties adding, “Remember to make God the head of every activity you undertake”. In honour of their contributions, the Church presented gifts and other memorabilia to them.

Justice Rose Owusu, on behalf of her colleague expressed gratitude to the Church and promised to work hard to further enhance justice delivery in the Ghana.
