Church goes to the aid of Orphanage

Gomoa Fetteh (C/R) May 8, GNA- The Cape Coast Polytechnic branch of Church of Christ, Student Union has presented items valued at GH¢ 100.00 and cash of GH¢ 500.00 to the Village of Hope Orphanage in Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region.

The items includes a carton of toilet soap, ladies tops, ladies skirts, unisex clothes, toilet rolls, 100 loafs of bread, shoes and sandals and learning materials.

Mr. Erick Arkoh Adjei, president of the Union, presenting the items at a ceremony, said the donation was their social obligations to the needy.

Madam Gladys Bulley, Child Care Manager of the Village received the items and thanked the Union for coming to the aid of the children In another development, Mr. Francis Zovio Sasu, a product of the village, now a law student at the University of Ghana, Legon also presented 20 copies each of three different English books he had written to the authorities to help stock the library at the Village.
