Church Donates Television Set To Hospital

Drobo (B/A), Sept 4 The youth wing of the Church of Light, Ghana, has presented a 14-inch colour television set, six blankets, six bedsheets and six pillow cases worth about 500,000 Cedis to the St. Mary’s Hospital at Drobo, the Jaman district capital. Pastor Alex Gyabaah, national youth pastor of the church, said the donation was part of activities being organized to round off its four-day annual youth camp. Dr. Francis Ali, medical officer in charge of the hospital who received the items, called on other churches and non-governmental organizations to emulate the Church of Light, Ghana, saying this is the first time the hospital had received such a donation.
