Church assists patients at Half Assini Government Hospital

Half Assini(W/R), July 11, GNA – The Apostle Continuation Church at Half Assini in the Jomoro District on Sunday presented provisions and soaps to patients at the Half Assini Government Hospital. The items costing 400 Ghana Cedis include, 10 cartons of Ideal and carnation milk, five cartons of liquid soap and large quantities of assorted toilet and washing soap. Pastor Daniel Amoako and Elder Benedict Blay-Kenya, leaders of the church in presenting the items said the gesture was in response to a revelation during their two-week prayer and fasting by members of the church.

They said liquid soap should be used for cleaning of the hospital whiles the provisions and other items should shared to the patients at the hospital. They said the church has decided to do a similar offer to the Ivorian refugees at Ampain in the Ellembenle District. Mr Blay-Chie Annan, a medical Assistant at the hospital who received the items thanked the church for its kind gesture and appealed to other organisations and institutions to emulate their example.
