Chronicle has mis-informed Public about PROFESSOR MILLS

The Chronicle of Thursday, November 25, 2004 published information about Professor Atta-Mills which is totally false. The paper was reporting on President Rawlings’ campaign tour of Nsawam, in the Eastern region. The paper reported that ” Though Professor Mills was also campaigning within the town, he strategically stayed away from the same platform as Rawlings who was waging a spirited, virulent attack on the NPP and the presidential candidate of the party.”

Journalists from Chronicle checked and cross- checked with officials from both the former President’s office and Professor Mills’ office they were told in no uncertain terms that their information was incorrect. Yet, because of the mischievous intentions, they did exactly what they had set out to do.
