Christ’s death must reconcile Ghanaians – Bishop

Bishop Emmanuel Ackun, Missions Director of the Victory Bible Church International, has underscored the need for Ghanaians to use Easter to reconcile with one another, to help move the nation forward.

Bishop Ackun who made the call when he delivered an Easter Message in Accra on the theme: “The Benefits of His Death,” pointed out that if by the Power of the Crucifixion and Resurrection, God restored His love relationship with His Son, then Christians, and Ghanaians in general, should forgive one another, and co-exist peacefully.

He urged Ghanaians to remain united even after Easter, and see God’s everlasting love for humanity in His Risen Son, and extend that same love to one another.

Bishop Ackun who is also the Pastor in charge of the Prophetic Sanctuary, asked Christians to use Easter to renew their faith in God, and pray earnestly and fervently for peace, prosperity and stability in our dear nation.

At the Kaneshie branch of the Apostolic Church, Pastor Kofi Addison, District Pastor of the Church, preaching on the theme: “Moving in the Resurrection Power,” reminded Christians that with His Resurrection, Christ has taken the power to kill from the devil or the evil one.

Pastor Addison said, for this reason, Christians should have no cause to fear the devil any longer, but to live and remain in the Resurrection Power of Christ at all times.
