Christians urged to prepare for tougher times

Reverend Kofi Antwi-Boasiako, Resident Pastor of Pentecost International Worship Centre, Atomic, in Accra, has urged Christians to brace themselves up for tougher times ahead in 2014.

According to him although 2013 was tough in terms of finances, the ensuing year would be tougher and would take those who understand the word of God to survive the times.

“Yet God has gone ahead of us in the form of fire and pure light to lead the way,” he said.

He asked Christians to maintain their faith in God for His sustenance and also pray that Ghana would experience more rains in the ensuing years to ensure bumper harvest to promote food security.

Rev Antwi-Boasiako who was delivering a message at the watch night service of the church on the theme: “Fanning the Pentecostal to impact generations,” he urged the congregation to expect a stronger impartation of the Holy Ghost fire.

He said it is obvious that the impartation of the Pentecostal fire unto the current generation would help to sustain the true spirit of Pentecostalism, which was spearheaded by the church’s founding fathers and spread like wild fire.

He prophesied that 2014 would be a fire year, full of power and grace from God to ensure that all things work for good for those who love God.

The church’s new auditorium was filled with members who wore white clothing to usher in the New Year with prayers.

The service was interwoven with individual testimonies, song ministrations, Bible readings and prayers.
