Christians urged to live upright

Ho, Jan. 2, (Gaitu), GNA-Christians have been urged to let the values of Christianity reflect in their daily lives as worthy examples to others.

“Unfortunately too many of our prayers to God at various times become only external performances only which are devoid of depth.”

Very Reverend Father Evaritus Amegadzi of the Catholic Church gave the exhortation at a wedding ceremony on Christmas day in Ho.

He said “people attend prayer conventions, crusades ‘All Nights’ but go back home with hatred for one another. They remain unforgiving, gossip and talk ill about their fellow men and women. Their religious activities remain apart from their day-to-day lives.”
