Christians urged to lead lives worthy of emulation

Akim Dwenase (E/R), March 14, GNA – Madam Akua Denkyera of the Church of the Lord at Akim Dwenase near Akim Osino has called on Christians to lead lives worthy of emulation and make Christ, the centre of their activities.

Madam Denkyera, the Senior Pastor of the Church, made the call when she addressed members of the Church at a service to usher in the Lent fasting period of Christians as prelude to Easter. She called on Church elders to show leadership qualities by example to enable to members to cultivate true love to forgive and forget in the footsteps of Christ.

Madam Denkyeraa said the youth in the society should be made to undertake useful ventures that would make them grow into useful citizens ready to take over from the aged.

She called on people to pray for those in authority and for the peace and prosperity of the country. 14 March 07
