Christians urged to be wary of false Prophets

Koforidua, April 8, GNA – The Rev Ernest Kwakye Abraham, Mile 50 Sub-District Presbyterian Church Pastor, on Friday urged Christians to be wary of false prophets who, he said, were spelling doom for the Church and the nation.

Rev. Abraham was preaching at a Crusade in Koforidua under the Theme 93Empowered by the Holy Spirit to set captives free from the hands of the devil”. He said the task of nation building was enormous and charged Christians to contribute their quota to enhance the lives of the people.

He appealed to the youth to take their studies serious and eschew social vices such as drug addiction, gambling, streetism and pre-marital sex which could ruin their future. Rev. Abraham announced plans by the Church to build a school complex for the community to enhance the education of the youth. Rev. Owusu Ansah, who was the guest speaker, deplored the attitude of politicians in the media and said they should use decent language to promote peace in the nation. 08 April 11
