Christians told to tap mercy from the Cross of Christ

Cape Coast, March 28, GNA – The Resident Pastor of the Cape Coast branch of the Victory Bible Church International, Reverend Richard Ampadu-Duku, on Sunday told Christians to see the Cross of Christ as a symbol of mercy.

At a church service to mark the triumphant entry of Christ into Jerusalem, Rev. Ampadu-Duku said, the most significant symbol of Easter is the Cross and therefore asked Christians to examine their lives and ensure that they were free from all curses, unfruitfulness and crisis. Speaking on the theme: “Generational Courses”, Rev. Ampadu-Duku noted that barriers that frustrated one from fulfilling his or her destiny, were established when one failed to submit to the laws of life. “A happy fruitful life is dependent on the proper submission of the laws and principles of life both physical and spiritual”, he stressed and urged Christians to use the occasion to remember the sacrifice God gave to mankind and abide by the word of God to enable them fulfill their destinies. The Assistant Pastor at the A.M.E Zion Church, Rev. Joseph Essel Hammond, said the country was currently going through a lot of challenges and that the leadership needed to follow God’s guidance for solutions. 28 March 10
