Baakoniaba (B/A), June 21,GNA – The Reverend Father Andrews Amankwaa= of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church at Baakoniaba in Sunyani Municipality at the weekend called on Christians to accept the Word of God and believe i= n the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
In a sermon at a service, Rev-Fr. Amankwaa asked members of the church to respect, unite and show sympathy to neighbours for their peaceful co-existence as Christian families.
He stressed that just as Jesus told his disciples to 93go to all nations” and preach the word of God, Christians in the Church could do sa= me for their neighbours to take Jesus as their personal Saviour. Rev.Fr. Amankwaa advised Christians to avoid abortions because the practice was tantamount to killing a human-being, the same negative practic= e that Jesus Christ spoke against in His teachings on the mountain. Parents or couples should learn to be good partners so they can bring up their children well, he said, and advised children to eschew negative attitudes towards their parents and renew their faith in Christ.
