Christians mark Easter

Accra, March 27 – Christians are on Sunday marking Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion about 2000 years ago.

Easter is the celebration of the strong faith of Christians throughout the world, as it symbolises the victory of Christ over death. In Ghana hundreds of Christians would be dressed in white clothes, signifying victory.

Chapels would be filled with worshippers, attending church services to signify their divine faith. A number of Churches, which are holding conventions, would wind up their activities after church service.
