Christians in Ghana mark Easter

Accra, April 24, GNA – Christians in Ghana and their counterparts throughout the World are on Sunday marking Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, about 2,000 years ago, with church services and conventions.

Church halls and parks would be filled with regular and occasional worshippers, who will be singing praises to glorify God and the power of His resurrection.

Easter, the most important event on the Christians calendar, is the solid rock on which Christianity is founded, for without the resurrection, there would have been no Christianity.
