Christians encouraged to move with divine speed into 2016

Reverend Kofi Antwi Boasiako, Resident Pastor of the Pentecost International Worship Centre at Atomic in Accra, has challenged Ghanaians especially Christians to move into the new year with divine speed.

He based his sermon to usher in the new year on 1 Kings 18:40-46, which talks about the Prophet Elijah with divine speed, outrun King Ahab almost 20 kilometres to Jezerel before the rain set in.

Rev Boasiako said Christians would succeed in the rapid accomplishment of life’s goals by God’s grace and divine enablement.

According to him the world is in an era of intense speed, which is evident in all things including food, diseases, deaths, sin, marriages and divorces.

However, God is going to assist believers with speed actuated by divine enablement, but they need to be prepared through extensive prayer and worship, set goals, maintain their focus and press on towards their goal.
