Christians asked to confront issues with objectivity

Kumasi, Dec. 25, The Right Reverend Anthony A. Beeko, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, has called on Christians to confront issues with objectivity to promote love and understanding.

“When issues arise to be solved, we must do so with love, objectivity and speak the truth to correct what is wrong and build each other up. This will save us from magnifying trifles into issues which disturb peace of those who ought to be brothers and sisters”, he added.

Rev Beeko’s call was contained in a Christmas message to members of the church. He said Ghanaians should make a conscious effort this Christmas to change their negative attitudes and to promote peace.

“It is enacting this interpretation of peace and goodwill towards our fellow human beings that will make our country better than we came to find it”, he added.

The Moderator asked the people to strive to improve upon their standard of living through legitimate means, admit their fault and to pray for forgiveness.
