Christians advised to fulfill social and economic responsibilities

Superintendent Minister of Musama Disco Christo Church (MDCC) in-charge of Cape Coast District, Rev Peter K. Mensah, has called on Christians to fulfill their social and economic responsibilities to accelerate the country’s socio-economic development.

He said this will go a long way to supplement the government’s efforts to develop the country.

Rev. Mensah made the call at a send-off church service for Rev. James Kweku Benhard Kuranchie who was in charge of Saltpond Circuit of the MDCC.

Rev. Kuranchie’s transfer was promoted as the District Pastor for Ekumfi Otouam area.

Rev. Mensah reminded Rev. Kuranchie that he had a challenging task and he should continue to be selfless, dedicated, cooperate with members of the church to enable him win more souls for the Lord.

Rev. Kuranchie thanked the church members and people of Saltpond for their hospitality and urged them to continue to work for the Lord, love each other, stand firm and support the pastor who would take over from him.
