Christian ministry donates to institutions in Kumasi

Kumasi, Sept 10, GNA- Preparing the Bride Ministries International Incorporated (PFBMI) based in the United States together with the City of Charlotte, a sister city of Kumasi, on Wednesday donated relief items to some institutions in Kumasi including the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA).

The items included orthopaedic equipment, disposal beddings, needles and syringes, drugs, computers, stationery, clothing, shoes, books and playthings.

The KMA will make use of the computers and stationery while the medical items will be sent to destitute homes and health facilities. Making the presentation at the premises of the KMA, Ms Trudy Hill, founder and missionary, said it is the desire of her ministry to be a channel of blessing to Africans.

She said her ministry started a feeding programme at Wa under which school children were fed with breakfast and lunch while in school. Mr Maxwell Kofi Jumah, Metropolitan Chief Executive, received the items, and thanked Ms Trudy and the City of Charlotte for the gift and expressed the hope that the two cities, Charlotte and Kumasi, will share experiences.
