Christian Council must intervene in Martey, NDC feud – Preacher

A Brong-Ahafo based preacher David Kyeremeh has called on the Christian Council of Ghana to intervene in the seeming tension between the governing NDC and the former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.

According to the founder of the Revelation Chapel, it will be inappropriate for the council to sit aloof and watch the war of words between Professor Emmanuel Martey and members of the NDC escalate before stepping in.

“Sometimes I get worried over the actions of the Christian Council. The council is supposed to be the umbrella body of pastors and men of God but often they wait until things get out of hands.

“We all saw how this recent issue between Professor Martey and the NDC started but the council has been quiet when they should rather be calling a truce. I think it is proper that they are proactive in preventing some of these things before they get out of hands like we are seeing here,” he told Metro FM.

The former Presby moderator who has been a persistent critique of the ruling NDC has been engrossed in allegation and counter allegations following his claim that some politicians attempted to bribe him with a staggering $100,000.

The NDC has dared him to provide names of the said politicians who he claims attempted to buy his silence.
