Madina (GAR), June 25, GNA – The Madina Firestone Christ Salvation Ministry, on Saturday embarked on a five-hour clean up exercise as a prelude to their 25th Anniversary.
A total of about 150 members took part in the five-hour exercise, which begun around six o’clock in the morning at the Madina Zongo-Junction traffic light to the Atomic Junction traffic light. They weeded, swept and burnt refuse on sides of the street.
Speaking to the GNA, the Assistant Reverend Minister of the Ministry, Pastor David Aryee said the programme for the Silver Jubilee, which commences on July 8th include a torchlight procession. He said that on July 9th the Church would organise cultural activities to be followed with the annual offertory. It would be rounded off with a thanksgiving service.
Ms. Eva Lokko, Director General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation would be the Guest of Honour.
