Chocolate poem and photo competition launched

Ghana Domestic Tourism Company Limited has launched a chocolate poem and photo competition aimed at enhancing the patronage of chocolate products and improving literary competence.

A statement issued by Ms Audrey Darkwa, the Event Manager of the company to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, on Tuesday, invited the public to send through SMS, a written poem of not more than 50 words in relation to how they enjoy chocolate.

The winner of the chocolate poem will win a prize, which would be announced on 14th February 14, 2016 (The National Chocolate Day), the statement said.

The statement also invited the public to send via WhatsApp, a photograph depicting them enjoying chocolate alone or with a friend, family, husband, wife, or mother.

The company said both competitions would have two categories: youth and adult.

The prizes include a chocolate gift package worth GH?10,000.00 and a free hotel accommodation and transport for the winner and one other person on Valentine’s Day 2016.

The package also include two return tickets for the winner and another to a tourist site in Ghana, electronic products worth GH?10,000.00 and an exclusive interview with the official radio partner on Valentine Day.
