Chinese Embassy to organize Olympic Exhibition

Accra, May 7, GNA – The Chinese Embassy in Ghana will organize a picture exhibition at the National Theatre from Wednesday, May 14 to Friday, May 16, 2008.

The three-day exhibition is aimed at publicizing the preparatory work of the XXIX Olympic Games to be held in Beijing, China in August this year.

A release from the Chinese Embassy in Accra copied to GNA Sports said pictures at the exhibition will show Beijing’s history, culture, Olympic construction and the nation’s involvement from various perspectives.

It said the exhibition will provide an opportunity for Ghanaians to know more about China and the forthcoming Olympic Games. The exhibition which will be opened freely to the public will be graced by Government officials, Diplomatic Corps, representatives from the Ghana Olympic Committee and the National Sports Council among others.
