Accra, June 15, GNA – Mr Yu Wenzhe, out-going Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, has re-affirmed China’s support to Ghana’s socio-economic development.
Mr Yu made the affirmation during a courtesy call on Mr Alban S.K. Bagbin, Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing in Accra on Tuesda y. He noted that Ghana and China had made remarkable contribution to th e development of their countries and called for the strengthening of bilate ral relations.
Mr Yu commended government for deepening democracy, the prevailing peace and the rule of law.
He congratulated the National Team, Black Stars for their victory in
the on-going World Cup Tournament in South Africa. Mr Bagbin congratulated Mr Yu for maintaining good working relations
with Ghana.
He said the construction of the Bui Dam resulted from his efforts towards Ghana’s development. Mr Bagbin appealed to China for assistance to build a multi-purpose car park at the precincts of the Ministry. 15 June 10
