Children’s ward receive items worth GH¢200

Cape Coast, July 26, GNA – The Cape Coast Young Adult Fellowship (YAF) of the Saint Paul’s Presbyterian Church on Saturday undertook a three-hour clean up exercise at the Cape Coast Metropolitan Hospital.

They cleared weeds, removed cobwebs and presented items worth GH¢200.00 to the children’s ward of the hospital.

The items included fruits, bread, toilet rolls, soap, biscuits, tins of milk and toffees.

The Vice-President of YAF, Mr. Augustus Latieku, said the donation formed the fellowship’s commitment to ensure the welfare of the sick child and appealed to all to support children’s programmes.

Mrs Mary Boadu, the Senior Nursing Officer of the Children’s Ward who received the items, thanked the group for the donation. GNA
