There is also the submission of the nominee after successive two processes to the legitimate kingmakers, indoor ritual procedural process for number of days by the legitimate chief makers.

This is followed by swearing of oath to the newly installed paramount chief of Somey in the presence of all key traditional chiefs and coronation of the newly installed chief to the public, where all sub-chiefs would swear allegiance to the newly legitimate paramount chief.

“However, all these processes were completely ignored by the illegitimate kingmakers by sidelining the legitimate kingmakers.”

The petition claimed that the 300 years stool got missing apparently to pave the way for the installation of the new chief, whilst there are efforts to evict the children of the late chief from their custodian home.

“Your Excellency, we are pleading with your outfit to institute an investigative process to avoid any bloodshed,” the petition warned.
