Chiefs pay last respect to late Asantehemaa

Scores of people continue to throng the Manhyia Palace as the burial and final funeral rites of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II enter the third day. Key among the personalities include President Akufo-Addo, former Presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor as well as representatives of the various foreign missions in Ghana.

Chiefs have however not been left out as many belonging to the royal paramountcy of the various tribes and clans also troop in to show their last resects to the late Asantehemaa. Here is a TV3 report on the burial and final funeral rites at Manhyia in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi.
