Chiefs declare support for ecotourism park and recycling village

Chiefs and the Assembly member for Asinesi electoral area have expressed interest for an initiative by drink safe water group to establish 100-acre Ecotourism Park and recycling village.

Hon. Isaac Tetteh Amanor led the meeting with two Chiefs, Dade Mantse Narh Evans and Dadematse Tetteh Benjamin, chiefs for Awuzamlem and Monu respectively in a discussion at the Yilo Krobo Municipal Conference hall of Town and country planning.

Mr. Daniel Alimoh Arnold, C. E. O of Wondrous Love foundation and chairman of Green Coast Park and Recycling Village, GCPRV noted that the project was to foster development in the community.

He said, his group was ready to enter into various partnerships to realize that, many who are not employed in the area will have jobs through the project.

Chiefs explained that the communities lack almost everything hence the strong believe that an Ecotourism Park of such size can help promote the area.
