Chiefs and people of Kwahu advised to foster peace

The chiefs and people of the Kwahu Traditional Area have been advised to promote peace after this year’s elections.

The Krontihene of Kwahu Abene, Nana Simpe Wiredu II, made the appeal, during a grand durbar of chiefs and people of the area, to mark this year’s “Akwasidae Kese” celebration.

He warned that any individual or group of people who cause post-election violence in the area, would be arrested and handed over to the law enforcement agencies.

Nana Wiredu advised parents to take advantage of the numerous second cycle institutions in the area, and send their children to school.

He reminded parents that education is the best legacy that they could bequeath to their children.

The Krontihene of Kwahu, Nana Asiedu Agyeman III, appealed to his colleague traditional rulers to unite and support the Kwahuhene, Daasebre Akuamoah Boateng II, to develop the area.
