Chief of Anerhor visits Ga State

Accra, March 28, GNA – Togbe Ahawoto Savado Zarkli Lawson VIII, Chief of Anerhor in Togo, will pay a three-day visit to the Ga State from March 29 to April 1, 2008. He will be accompanied by a 30-man delegation.

A delegation from the Ga Traditional Council (GTC) would meet Togbe Lawson at the Tema round-about at 1000 hours on Saturday, March 29. A statement issued by the GTC and signed by Mrs. Bernice O. Bempong, said the royal delegation would proceed to the Ga Mantse Palace to meet the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Tawiah III.

It said the visitors would then visit the Makola Market area and lay a wreath at the King Tackie Tawiah Square. The statement said on Sunday, Togbe Lawson would visit the Ga Royal Stool House at 0800 hours and then pay courtesy calls on the chiefs of Osu, La, Nungua and Tema. Togbe Lawson would hold a closed door meeting with King Tackie Tawiah at 1000 hours on Monday, March 31 at the Ga Mantse Palace at Kaneshie whilst he joins chiefs and elders from the Ga State as well as those from Obutu at 1300 hours for a Ga unity mini durbar.
