Chief of Ada Foah presents books to pupils in Dangme East District

Ada Foah, Jan. 03, GNA – Nene Tawiah Narnor, Chief of Ada Foah, has presented exercise books, boxes of chalk and other learning materials worth 34 million cedis to Dangme East District Directorate of Education. This is to enhance effective and efficient teaching and learning to improve on the falling standards of education in the district. Nene Narnor said plans were far advanced to establish an Educational Fund to assist brilliant but needy children in the district. He urged chiefs in the district to mobilise funds to improve education because was a major tool for development. Madam Regina Ametame, Dangme East District Director of Education who received the items said they would be well utilised. Mr Alex Tetteh Enyo, Member of Parliament for the area, commended the chief for the gesture and urged other chiefs to emulate him.
