Chief lauds residents for maintaining peace

Nana Agyen Frimpong II, Tafohene, has praised citizens in the community for maintaining peace and tranquillity during and after the election.

He expressed the hope that the spirit of togetherness and oneness would continue so that more success would be achieved to bring development to the area.

Nana Agyen Frimpong, speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview, lauded the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for being the main architect of the peace prevailing in t he area since he spared no effort to resolve all protracted chieftaincy disputes when he ascended the Golden Stool.

“What the Otumfuo has done will forever bring peace and unity in the area”, he said.

The Chief appealed to the people to avoid divisive tendencies and anything that would create confusion so that with unity of purpose they work together to build the area.

Nana Agyen Frimpong urged the youth to help in the socio-economic development of the community and pledged to work as his predecessors did and called for support and cooperation from all and sundry.
