The Krontihene of Nsuem number 2, Nana Kofi Nkwaa has admitted defiling a 15 year old girl.
According to Adwoa Bomo who stays with the victim, she detected some abnormalities in the girl and suspected she was pregnant. Test at the hospital proved that she was pregnant but the girl denied it and complained of stomach and headache.
Some drugs were administered on her at the hospital but unfortunately it caused an abortion.
The girl then confessed that it was Nana Kofi Nkwaa who did that to her but warned her not to disclose it to anyone. When Nana Kofi Nkwaa was contacted by the victim’s caretaker, they agreed to settle the matter amicably and he promised to pay 5million cedis to the family of the victim and some schnapps. He made part payment of 2.5million and promised to pay the remaining later. Some one reported the case to the police and the suspect and other people who settled the case were arrested.
The D.S.P Nana Kumi said, the girl is not around now for investigation.Sources said she has left Nsuem 2 with her parents.
He added that until the girl is found, investigations cannot continue.
