Chemu Secondary School inaugurates its board

Tema, Aug 13, GNA – A 12-member Board of Governors for the Chemu Secondary School at Tema was on Tuesday inaugurated with a call on the members to ensure that discipline prevails at the school at all times for uninterrupted academic work.

Inaugurating it Mr Samuel Evans Ashong Narh, Tema Municipal Chief Executive, said the Board faces challenges to formulate policies that would help to sustain and improve academic standards to make it among one of the best schools in Tema.

He reminded them of the sacrificial nature of the task and said “this calls for commitment to reverse the falling standard of education”. The Board, which would be in office for three years, has Mr Rodger Bekoe Dawson as its Chairman. 13 Aug. 03
