Charlotte Osei shouldn’t do the bidding of NDC – Kwamena Duncan

Central Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwamena Duncan has admonished the Electoral Commissioner (EC) Charlotte Osei not to do the bidding of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking on Kokrokoo on Peace FM, Kwamena Duncan advised the EC Boss to maintain her integrity and uphold the mandate of Ghanaians given to her to administer elections in the country.

According to him, Ghana’s elections appear to be characterized by mayhem during the electioneering year and so warned the EC Boss to compose herself and ensure free and transparent elections this year.

He, however, wondered why the EC Boss is so bent on ensuring there is no change in the current voters’ register for the sake of the Ghanaian electorates.

“Why is it that every election year, there is this tussle? There is this mistrust; there is this suspicion?” he questioned, calling on Mrs. Charlotte Osei to be wary of her actions this year.

Also commenting on the issue, the Member of Parliament for Obuasi West, Kwaku Kwarteng further advised Mrs. Charlotte Osei to engage in self-introspection.

He urged her to re-examine her character as the nation gears up towards the November 7, 2016 elections.

“She should sit up and re-examine herself.” he said.
