Chaos in Tamale as NPP boys attack gov’t agencies

There is chaos in the Northern regional capital, Tamale, as some members of the ruling NPP government known as the Kandahar boys have attacked some government agencies.

According to Starr FM’s Northern regional correspondent, Eliasu Tanko, the Kandahar boys beat up workers and locked up the offices of the National Health Insurance Authority and the Youth Employment Authority in Sagnarigu.

The Kandahar boys allegedly stormed other government offices and locked them up, claiming that it is their time to enjoy since their government is in power.

Tanko added that there was only one police officer at the NHIS office who was overpowered by the Kandahar boys leading to workers and clients fleeing the area.

The Kandahar boys who went on rampage were over 30 in number.

Workers of the various agencies tell Starr News that they heard rumors on Thursday that the NPP thugs will attack them on Friday but treated it as mere rumor.

All the offices attacked by the NPP boys have been locked out.
