Chaos at UCC: Three students stabbed

Three people were stabbed on Friday following clashes between students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University of Ghana, Legon, at the Cape Coast University.

The bloody chaos erupted after students of the Commonwealth Hall of Legon and Unity Hall of KNUST, who had been invited for a programme at UCC, had a misunderstanding over an issue.

It is unclear what caused the dispute between the two student groups.

According to Starr News sources, several properties belonging to the host hall of UCC, Ogua hall, have been destroyed as a result of the melee.

Some students of some Halls of the UCC are reported to have joined in the fight leading to the several stabbing.

The Police were called in to restore calm by worried students after several hours of the bloody crusade.
