Champion Ministerial College ordains pastors

Bishop Samuel Owusu, General Overseer of Champion Ways Chapel, has called on Christians to open a new chapter by refraining from social vices which hinder national development.

He said Christians would be doing great disservice to the nation if they do not allow the teachings of Jesus Christ to reflect in their daily lives.

Bishop Owusu made the call at the 58th ordination service of the college at Achimota in Accra on Sunday.

He said the college which was established in 1990 had so far trained more than 7,000 pastors.

Bishop Owusu, who is also the Presiding Bishop of the International School of Prophets, charged the ordained pastors to lead exemplary lives for others to emulate.

He used the opportunity to appeal to drivers to be careful on the roads to avoid accidents.
