Chamber of Mines presents jerseys to Western University College.

Tarkwa (W/R) Sept. 6 GNA – The Ghana Chamber of Mines has presented a set of jerseys to the Western University College for the development of its sporting activities.

Ms. Joyce Aryee, Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber who presented the jerseys to the University said the items form part of the social responsibility of the organisation.

She urged the University to encourage the students to combine their academic work with sporting activities and also improve on its sporting activities to bring glory to the Region.

Mr. Joseph Appiah, Financial Secretary of the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the College who received the items expressed his gratitude to Chamber and gave the assurance that the University would ensure that the jerseys are put to good use. 06 Sept. 04
