Abetifi, Dec 9, GNA – Certified results from the Electoral Commission (EC), indicated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) polled 16,485 votes, representing 68.94 percent in the presidential election. The PNC had 106 representing 0.44 percent whiles NDC polled 6,851 representing 28.62 percent, DFP 53, DPP 22, CPP 208, RPD 10 and an independent candidate had 45 votes with 550 ballots being rejected. In the parliamentary, NPP polled 16,491 representing 58.90 percent, PNC 246 representing 1.03 percent, NDC 6,767 representing 28.21 percent, CPP 436, representing 1.82 percent whiles 416 ballots were also rejected.
