CEPS extends working hours in December

Accra, Nov. 30, GNA – The Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) announced on Thursday that with effect from Saturday, December 2, 2006 all its offices, including the Headquarters, would be opened on Saturdays until the end of the year to provide full services to the public.

The extended working hours, which would run from December 2 to 31, 2006, however, excludes statutory public holidays. A statement signed by Ms Annie Anipa, Assistant Commissioner, Public Relations, said work would start at 0800 hours and end at 1700 hours daily.

“CEPS wishes to request the support and cooperation of the entire business community in this important national exercise,” it said.
