Saltpond (C/R), April 28, GNA – This year’s Central Regional celebration of the May Day would be marked at the Victoria Park, Saltpond on Monday with a parade to be addressed by the Regional Minister, Mr Isaac Edumadze.
As a prelude, organised labour in the Mfantseman District comprising the District Council of Labour (DCL), Ghana Registered Nurses Association (GRNA), Civil Servants Association and the Ghana National Association of Teachers, on Thursday undertook a clean-up exercise at Saltpond.
Mr P.A. Owusu, Secretary to the District Council of Labour, told the Mr Adjei Asamoah Kusi, Presiding Member of the District Assembly and Chairman of DCL, appealed to workers to participate in the activities. 28 April 08
