Central Command to co-ordinate security operations in Hohoe

A central security command is to be established at Hohoe to enhance the operations of security services there; Mr. Henry Ford Kamel, Volta Regional Minister hinted the media in Ho on Wednesday.

He said the re-alignment of security services had become necessary to ensure effective coordination among the security services.

It is also to make the curfew imposed on the Town effective.

Mr. Kamel said prominent religious and traditional leaders in the region were also being contacted to get involved in restoring peace to the Town.

He said the peace process would handle all complaints and “right all wrongs.”

Mr. Kamel, said it was important for the Gbis to appreciate the cosmopolitan nature of Hohoe, look at the national interest and “rise above emotions.”**
