Celebration of June 4 relevant to the youth-Ametepe

Ho, June 4, GNA – Mr Henry Ametepe, Volta Regional Co-ordinator of the United Cadres Front (UCF) on Thursday said the celebration of June 4 Revolution would expose the youth to know the relevance of event to Ghana’s political development.

He said the principles of good governance and accountability as provided in the 1992 Constitution took their roots from the June 4, 1979 uprising, which must not be lost on the youth and those in authority. Mr Ametepe made this known to the Ghana News Agency during a cleanup exercise organised by the UCF in conjunction with Zoom lion, a sanitation company in Ho as part of the celebration of the 31st anniversary of the June 4 uprising.

He reminded those at the helm of affairs to constantly uphold the values of the military uprising. Other activities lined up to mark the celebrations include a documentary on the importance of June 4 and a symposium. 4 June 10
