Celebrating birth of Christ and newly born babies

Cape Coast, Dec. 25, GNA- Some Christian homes in Cape Coast are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and that of their newly born babies. The eve of Christmas saw the birth of some babies who could not wait long enough to share their birthdays with Christ, while others were born just on time to be called “Christmas babies.” When Ghana News Agency visited three hospitals in Cape Coast on Christmas Day, a total of eight babies had been born between the eve of Christmas and Christmas morning.

At the Cape Coast Metropolitan Hospital, two boys and a girl were born on Christmas Eve while two girls were born on Christmas morning. The University of Cape Coast Hospital, recorded the birth of two girls, one on Christmas Eve and the other at the dawn of Christmas. The Central Regional Hospital also recorded the birth of one girl on the morning of Christmas.

According to midwives of the three hospitals, all babies were healthy.
