Cattle dealer, hangs himself; leaves behind 2 wives, 8 children

A middle-aged man, has allegedly committed suicide at Saka, a suburb of Zebilla in the Upper East region.

The deceased, Ayaba Daduda who is a businessman was found hanging from a tree in the early hours of the day, bringing the number of reported suicide cases in the country to 15.

Confirming the incident, in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM, the Crime Officer at the Zebilla Police Station, Inspector Owusu Boakye said “On 15/03/2017 at about 5:00 am, the deceased was seen to have hanged himself with a rope on a tree behind his house”

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Zebilla District Hospital morgue pending autopsy.

Police say the deceased did not leave behind any note in respect of the reasons behind he committing this act.

He left behind two wives and eight children.
