Catholic Teachers congratulate new GES boss

The Association of Catholic Teachers (ACT) in the Kumasi Catholic Province, has congratulated Mr Jacob Aaworb-Nang Maabobr Kor, who has been appointed as the new Director General of Ghana Education Service (GES).

A release signed by Mr Eric Kyei; Chairman, and Mr Boakye-Baafi Williams; Coordinator, and copied to Ghana News Agency in Kumasi, said his appointment to the high office came as no surprise since the Association believed he had all the wherewithal to perform the task to the superlative.

“The association was convinced that your natural qualities of hard work, humility, and commitment to duty, would bring the expected positive transformation to the country’s education to make it one of the best on the world stage”, the release added.

“It is our prayer that the Lord, who appointed you to the highest office of the GES, would continue to guide, protect, strengthen, encourage and inspire you throughout the period of your service.”
