Catholic Priest killed in accident

A 48-year-old catholic priest, Rev Fr Joseph Anderson Ennor, died on Monday when the car he was driving was involved in an accident on Ezinlibo Junction/Ezinlibo road near Tikobo Number 1

The deceased, who taught History, Religious Studies and Moral Education at AnnorAdjei Senior High School in the Jomoro District was returning to his station from a journey when the accident occurred.

Jomoro District Police Commander, Superintendent of Police John Furguson Dzineku, told GNA that the deceased was negotiating a sharp curve on a steep hill when he lost control of his Toyota pick-up.

The vehicle veered off the road and fell on its side.

He said the deceased was taken to Half Assini Government Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly on arrival.
